On 10 Nov 2024, British skipper Pip Hare engaged in the Vendée Globe, the ultimate race around the world. Over 250,000 gathered at the start, plus millions online.

Achievements include winning, or completing the race. But also exceptional feats - saving a competitor in danger, or surviving a major incident and making it back.​​​​​

Ultimate Resilience

A few weeks ago, Pip Hare raced the Vendée Globe when, on 15 Dec 2024 and 800 nautical miles from Australia in the Southern Ocean, her mast broke.

 

Lost halfway between Antarctica and Australia, but showing champion skills and determination, she ensured her safe return. Thousands followed her journey back to land - a major story in the race.

Today, Pip is back, with focus on new challenges, new races, and her sights set on Vendée Globe 2028.​​​​​
